I love being a tourist. LOVE IT. I don’t care if it’s cheesy. I know it’s cheesy. It’s really I shame I love it so much, because with three little ones I don’t get to travel as much. So I do the touristy thing at home. Almost as much fun, without the jet lag.

I live in San Luis Obispo, which is the perfect place to be a tourist…wine country, tons of festivals, small beach towns just 10 minutes away…
It’s sometimes easy to forget that their are wonderful things right in our own backyards!
Three cheers for townie tourists! It’s especially easy to be a hometown tourist if you’re fairly new to your hometown. I think of it was having a “civic crush”. It’s been three years since we unpacked the last box & I’m still crushin’ on our new metro & region.
