My accent, let me share it with you

So about 300 years ago everyone started posting videos of themselves on their blogs to share their accents. Which is nothing more than a clever excuse to post a video about nothing. I'm all about that.

I've been mostly offline for the past few weeks, so I missed the videos the first time around. The other night I spent a good chunk of time watching some of my favorite bloggers read the same list of words aloud and it was incredibly fun. So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and make one too.

(Because I know Spanish-accented English is sooo uncommon and you guys are curious, right?)

Here it is!

I don't lie to you, internet. There is always at least one child hovering over me when I blog. I hope you enjoyed that little peek of my Sebastian.

So funny that you said Boston...with an accent! A "Bas-ton" accent! I need to do this if only to educate you guys about potato bugs!

You're ADORABLE! Loved this. I wonder if I'm brave enough to try it???

Oh, and my Dad is half-Dominican (half-German) raised in Puerto Rico which is where I was born and lived until I was 7 when we moved to, you guessed it!, MIAMI. :) I totally have a Miami accent. Although people who really know their accents can always tell I'm Puerto Rican.

We're practically related! And thank you! You should do it. I'm so bad at vlogging but this was easy.

Love your voice! And so love when bloggers do videos. Just one video, one opportunity to listen to their voice makes it easy to imagine them reading their blog posts =) Loved watching/listening!

And almost forgot, you had me laughing because your answer for the bug question (why would you touch a bug!?!?!) and the toilet papering question are totally my answers. I read the same kind of doo-hickey survey type thing awhile back & thought it'd be great to do a Latina version. ps. what do you call the shopping cart in Spanish? And what do you call a car in Spanish? For me, coche for the former and carro for the latter =)

I say carrito and carro--sometimes coche ;)
